Privacy policy
Last updated: 28 October 2026
DesignQuantum is a static website. This policy explains what data is involved when you visit it.
What we collect
- No accounts. The site has no login or comment system. The only form is the optional newsletter signup described below.
- No cookies set by us and no advertising or cross-site tracking scripts.
- Server and security logs. The site is delivered through Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses, browser type and the pages requested in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
If we add analytics or advertising in the future, we will update this page before doing so and describe what is collected and why.
Newsletter
If you subscribe to our free newsletter, we store your email address, your chosen frequency and language, when you subscribed, confirmed or unsubscribed, the page where you signed up and a one-way hash of your IP address (used only to limit abuse). We use this data only to send you the newsletter you asked for and to keep a record of your consent.
- Double opt-in. You are subscribed only after you click the link in our confirmation email.
- Service providers. Subscriber data is stored in a Cloudflare D1 database and emails are sent through Cloudflare Email Service. The signup form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated sign-ups. We do not sell or share your address, and our emails contain no tracking pixels.
- Unsubscribe and deletion. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link and a link to change your frequency or language. To have your data deleted, email editor@designquantum.com.
External links
Our articles link to many external sources. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.
If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply and to handle your request.
