BlueQubit describes itself as a frontier lab focused on achieving quantum advantage. Its website says it develops quantum algorithms and classical simulators, and that its work targets applications in materials, chemistry, optimization, and other scientific problems. The company also states that it pioneered “peaked circuits” as a way to study verifiable quantum advantage.

The company’s platform offerings include BlueQubit AI, simulators, hardware access through a single API, and an SDK for running circuits on simulators and quantum hardware. BlueQubit says its software stack includes statevector and tensor-network simulation, gate synthesis, circuit optimization, and differentiable simulation of quantum circuits.

In an October 2026 arXiv preprint, BlueQubit researchers reported random-circuit sampling on 61 qubits of IBM's cloud-accessible Nighthawk r2 processor (ibm_phoenix), estimating that reproducing the one-million-sample run classically would take about 110 years on the Frontier supercomputer under assumptions favoring the classical side. The paper lists BlueQubit's address in San Francisco, California.
