Orange Quantum Systems

Orange Quantum Systems is a Delft-based company focused on testing quantum chip performance. Its website says it develops test equipment, protocols, control software, and cryogenic sample environments to give customers clearer insight into chip performance and reduce testing bottlenecks during development.

The company’s offerings include OrangeQS MAX, OrangeQS FLEX, Quantum Care, and the OrangeQS Juice operating system. According to its site, these tools support testing of solid-state quantum chips, including superconducting and semiconductor-based qubits, from several to hundreds of qubits per chip. OrangeQS states that it was launched in 2020 and has spent over five years developing test solutions for this area.

Its timeline notes a 2023 EIC Accelerator grant and investments from Cottonwood Technology Fund and QDNL Participations, followed by a 2024 investment from Innovation Quarter and a €12 million seed round closed in 2025. The company lists its headquarters in Delft, the Netherlands.
