Qilimanjaro Quantum Tech is a Barcelona-based quantum computing company that says it develops full-stack analog quantum computers, covering theory, applications, software, and hardware. Its website describes access through SpeQtrum, alongside analog and digital QPU offerings and classical CPU/GPU resources. The company states it was founded in 2019 and was born as a spin-off of IFAE, BSC and UB.
The company highlights deployments at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center and in the United Arab Emirates, and says it integrated a system with MareNostrum 5 and later inaugurated an analog quantum computer at BSC under the EuroQCS-Spain contract. Qilimanjaro also says it opened Europe’s first multimodal quantum data center beneath its headquarters in 2025. The homepage lists its address in Barcelona and notes backing from the Spanish Society for Technological Transformation (SETT) within the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan financed by the European Union.
