The Company Lab (CO.LAB) is a startup accelerator in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Its website says it began in 2009 as Create Here, a grassroots effort to support makers and small businesses on the city's Main Street, before becoming CO.LAB. Its accelerator recruits early-stage, venture-backable startups that match innovation needs identified by corporate partners, and matches cohort companies with organizations to explore real-world pilots. Partners it names include TVA, VW, EPB and Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and it promotes Chattanooga's commercially available quantum network as a test bed.
In August 2026 CO.LAB announced CO.LAB Q, a 12-month quantum commercialization studio. Its first cohort, which began in November 2026, includes Ridge Quantum, Superquantum, esoteriq and Kottackal, according to Teknovation, with EPB, Quantinuum, Davidson Technologies and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga as founding partners.
