Quint Computing develops superconducting quantum computers built around a patented architecture that suppresses a large share of errors directly within the chip's circuit elements, so that error-correction algorithms only need to handle what remains. The company says superconducting hardware allows error-correction cycles below a microsecond, and expects its approach, once fully implemented, to reduce complexity, hardware overhead and energy use by a factor of 100.

Quint was founded in October 2025 as a spin-off from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) by physicists Michael Hartmann and Christopher Eichler and economist Jona Stinner, and is part of the Munich Quantum Valley ecosystem. Its advisory board includes Florian Marquardt, Reinhard Ploss and Markus Hoffmann.

In November 2026 the company closed a €9.1 million first round led by Vsquared Ventures, with Quantonation, Nucleus Capital, Faber, Vanagon Ventures, ZOHO.VC and IQM founder Mikko Möttönen, and received a €2.2 million EIC Pathfinder grant. It plans to grow to about 40 people by 2028.
